Biography
Brett Michael Bullard is an American actor currently based in New York City. Brett discovered his passion for the performing arts at a young age when he would take part in all of the community theatre projects that were available to him growing up in a small town in western Tennessee. Brett has been lucky enough to expand his horizons to write, cast, direct, and coproduce his own work in an award winning theater in West Virginia. He enjoys not only the process that takes place on stage, but also being apart of helping that process come to life. In 2014, Brett graduated high school Summa Cum Laude before taking the big step from small town life to an acting conservatory in New York City. He was extremely ecstatic to be accepted into The American Academy of Dramatic Arts rigorous two-year program. In 2016 Brett graduated from the school with an Associates of Occupational Studies, as well as being one of two people in his entire graduating class to be awarded the Max Fischer Award for most expanded growth throughout his training at the Academy. Brett was also apart of the prestigious third year program at the conservatory, The Academy Company, where he shared the stage with fifteen other talented actors and put up various shows throughout the year. Brett’s favorite roles from productions at the Academy include Fly from "Blood Potato" by James McManus, Chuck from "She Kills Monsters" by Qui Nguyen, Orpheus from "Polaroid Stories" by Naomi Iizuka, and Nikos from Charles Mee’s "Big Love". Brett’s favorite advanced scene study character from his training at the Academy is Thomas from "Venus in Fur" by David Ives. Brett has always enjoyed expressing himself and inspiring others with his work and is excited to see what opportunities the future holds.
